OUR HISTORY
It all started with a man, a truck, and a damaged slab of concrete. Our founder, Ryan Blades, had a goal of owning his own construction company after years of working in the industry. Ryan worked in marine construction, road construction, in-factory construction and a variety of other jobs. A successful cold call led to his first independent job repairing a concrete slab for a commercial property manager.
Over the next few years, Team Cam grew steadily as Ryan brought on employees, purchased equipment, and moved into an appropriate office space. Small maintenance jobs started to turn into commercial construction maintenance projects, concrete jobs, paving, ADA compliance and larger capital work on commercial properties and roadways.
As Team Cam grew, our founder had a new vision for the company: offer large scale project capacity while still holding onto the small projects that make us who we are, all while retaining our dependability. He developed that vision into our three profit centers and started to bid and procure state contracts—leading us to where we are today.
The road to where we are today wasn’t always smooth; we’ve been through rough patches and some bumps in the road. We have grown through our experiences and continue to shift and adapt to an ever-changing industry, and our founder’s diverse background has allowed us to grow into the company we are today. We are currently specializing in asphalt paving, utilities and infrastructure, and concrete with plans to continue to grow all aspects of our business in the future.
