Headquartered in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan Area, Nichols specializes in elevator/escalator modernization and additions as well as commercial renovations and life safety upgrade projects.
Fred Nichols founded our organization in 1991 based on the simple promise to do what we say we are going to do, when we say we will do it. Formed as a true, general construction firm, Nichols saw a void in the construction industry for self-performing companies specializing in life safety construction projects. Nichols has built upon that small market to become a leader in the commercial construction industry. In 2013, Nichols Contracting, opened the Florida Division, allowing us to service our clients in the Mid Atlantic Area as well as the South East. Since Inception, Nichols has been able to continue to grow on the strength of our people and our achievements are the work of our dedicated team of over 100 employees.
