Established in 1970, by our founder, Mr. “Roy” Poore, Mechanical Systems, Inc. was the first independent automatic temperature controls contractor in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Over the years our focus and business base has expanded to include complete mechanical HVAC services including the installation, service and maintenance of all types of commercial HVAC systems. With 40 years of experience in serving customers from Baltimore to Richmond, we pride ourselves on providing unparalleled customer service with all of our air conditioning, heating, temperature controls, and building maintenance & service contracts. Our clients know that we are always ready to help them with all of their HVAC needs.

Mechanical Systems, Inc. maintains a fleet of fully stocked service trucks at our Columbia, Maryland location in order to provide 24 hour, 7 day a week service to our service and maintenance customers. We take pride in our ability to meet the heating & air conditioning needs of some of the Maryland area’s largest corporations, banks, and property management companies.

We continue to specialize in the service and installation of all types of automatic temperature control systems, including electric, electronic, direct digital and pneumatic systems. Mechanical Systems, Inc. is proud to be an authorized installing agent for the Johnson Controls Facility Explorer building automation systems.
