American Custom Contractors was founded in 1972 by Alex and Angie Giakoumatos, who resided in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County, with their small family. Over the years, their business grew from a small carpentry operation into a full-scale remodeling company. Their family also grew to include four children, who have all become active members of the local community.
Commercial roofing. From renovations to new construction, roofing to window and door installation to painting, American Custom Contractors brings expert project management skills and quality control to commercial contracting jobs in both the public and private sectors.
Sons William and Demetri Giakoumatos joined the family business in 1997 and helped American Custom Contractors continue to grow. Under their leadership, the company expanded its service area and services and the Commercial Services division was born. American Custom Contractors moved to its current location at 15728 Crabbs Branch Way in Rockville in 2005, so the staff could be more centrally located and better service ongoing projects and estimate requests.
