Building Dynamics, LLC (BDL) is an independent engineering and industrial hygiene consulting firm specializing in HVAC systems, Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and Energy Analysis. BDL was founded in 1996 by Ed Light, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and James Bailey, Professional Engineer (PE), to provide clients with a multi-disciplinary perspective and cost-effect solutions to building issues and occupant concerns. Ed has been a nationally recognized leader in the IEQ field for 35 years, while Jims 40 year career in HVAC design and operation includes specializations in moisture control and building science.
Our technical expertise is rooted in hands-on experience with building operations and communication with stakeholders in contentious situations. We enjoy the challenges of problem-solving and welcome involvement in cutting-edge issues.
