The parts of the structure that keep water out eventually deteriorate. The environmental loads on the structure – seasonal cycling of temperature, wind, and rain – cause damage to the building’s defenses. When this clear understanding of what is truly initiating the problems is addressed first, the overall lifecycle and performance of the building is improved.
